Overview

Russian Railways is one of the largest employers in the country, offering a wide range of career paths — from school students and interns to experienced professionals and technical experts.

This case describes the design of a unified career and recruitment platform that brought together job applications, internships, education programs, and candidate progress tracking into a single digital experience.

Business context

Before the platform launch, recruitment and education initiatives were spread across multiple disconnected systems: Job vacancies Internship programs Student and graduate initiatives Educational and re-skilling tracks This fragmentation created friction for both candidates and internal HR teams. The organization needed a single entry point for all career-related interactions.

I’ve had the chance to work with some truly great people across a variety of companies — it was both fun and rewarding. Hopefully one day you’ll cross paths with them, and they’ll have good things to say about what we accomplished together
